[Tips] Mempercepat loading Acrobat Reader

Sebel menunggu loading start-up page Acrobat Reader pada saat start-up yang memakan waktu sekitar 5-10 detik ?

silakan ikuti step2 dibawah ini…
1. Cari installation folder acrobat reader. bisanya C:\program files\adobe\acrobat\reader\.. terserah
2. PINDAHkan seluruh files dari folder plug-ins directory ke Optional directory. (cut and paste the files NOT copy & paste).

Setelah proses perpindahan files tsb berhasil, silakan cuba buka Acrobat Reader… tadaaaa… acrobat reader (files) akan tampil secepat kita membuka files Notepad….

This is an unique technique for XP, which could improve the performance significantly by tweaking the prefetcher (which is a cache folder).

langkah2 nya sebagai berikut :

1. run “regedit”;
2. goto [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters\EnablePrefetcher];
3. Set the value to either 0-Disable, 1-App launch prefetch, 2-Boot Prefetch, 3-Both (“3″ is recommended).
4. reboot.

It should decrease the boot time and the time it takes to load programs.

NOTE : jangan lupa yah backup dulu sebelum bermai2n dengan regedit

[tips]cara membuat shutdown timer…mudah dan cepat

Step 1.
Right Click on your desktop and choose “New->Shortcut”.

Step 2.
In the box that says “Type the location of the shortcut”,
type in “shutdown -s -t 3600″ with out the quotation marks
and click next.
Note: 3600 are the amount of seconds before your
computer shuts down. So, 60secs*60mins=3600secs.

Step 3.
Make up a name for the shortcut and you’re done.
You can change the icon by right clicking->properities->change icon-> browse.

-To make an abort key to stop the shutdown timer just create
another shortcut and make the “location of the shortcut”
to “shutdown -a” without the quotes.
